Thank you for your interest in and continued support of our efforts!!

Galway Kinnell, once wrote, “Sometimes it is necessary to reteach a thing its loveliness…and retell it in words and in touch, it is lovely, until it flowers again from within, of self-blessing…” I am convinced that the answer to our society’s ills lies in reteaching ourselves how to find the greatness within. We already possess it but sometimes we need to be equipped to think and act differently to complete our journey.

There are so many wonderful programs that we have in store for you this year. We are excited especially about our sisterly men's empowerment conference called Genius For Men that we will convene at the Greenbelt Marriott in Greenbelt, MD on May 9, 2009. This conference is in response to an overwhelming request to In Sight Initiative to host an event to celebrate the work of men in our community that are our everyday heroes.
